Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State swore into office thirty-two special advisers on Friday. In his remarks, Governor Umaru Fintiri congratulated the advisers for their appointments. He charged them to discharge their duties with the utmost fairness and work with commissioners to better the lives of the people. Responding on behalf of the advisers, Bala Buba Jada thanked Governor Fintiri for giving them the appointment. He promised their unalloyed support to the governor and brought their expertise to bear in the development of the state. The event, which was held in the Banquet Hall, Government House, Yola, was attended by Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, Secretary to the State Government Barrister Auwal Tukur, Chief of Staff Government House Yola Dr. Edgar Amos, Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Mr. Bathiya Wesley, and Commissioners, among others. The oath of office and allegiance were administered to the newly appointed advisers by the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Jingi Afraimu.
