The National Association of Local Government of Nigeria has provided Comprehensive Health Centres to the 774 Local Government Areas in the country. The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa, has received twenty-one generators and hospital equipment. Receiving the items on behalf of the Commissioner,  the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Sule Yahaya, applauded the efforts of the local government chairmen, adding that the gesture would go a long way in reducing the hardship being faced by the citizens. While presenting the equipment, the consultant, Mr. Rimanyang Yabkwa Usman, revealed that seven hundred and seventy-four (774) comprehensive health centers have been provided in all the local government areas of Nigeria in order to give the masses access to health facilities within their reach. He explained that the health centers have the capacity to accommodate eight patients, urging them to maintain the facilities.
