NAWLO leadership of Adamawa, led by the leader of the group Mrs. Galaxy Thimi were at ASPC to pay a courtesy visit on the Executive Chairman, Dr. Mary B. Paninga. Their visit took a center stage to familiarize and introduce themselves formally to the Executive Chairman who happens to be a woman, and applauded Governor Fintiri for appointing their own in this position. They also briefed her about the activities of the organization and the importance of the upcoming International Women’s Day, which is around the corner. In her response, the chairman thanked them for their coming; she also said she belongs to AWLO, which is the African Women Led Organization, and is also the zonal coordinator of the North East for ANWBN, and she assured them of a collaborative trip in the BAY States and NE as a whole, especially for the upcoming IWD. She also declared her NGO registered with the organization henceforth. The Secretary of the group Mrs Serah Jackson and Haj. Hauwa Hammanjoda thanked the Executive Chairman for giving them audience out of her tight schedule, they are very proud of her being the voice of women in the State. In attendance during the visit were the Director of Donor Support and Coordination and the P.R.O. of the Commission amongst others.
