Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has sworn in 13 recently appointed permanent secretaries and one sole administrator for the Jera Bakari Development Area. The appointment of the new permanent secretaries was approved after a successful examination conducted by the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON). The governor, represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, urged the new permanent secretaries to pursue the interests of the state wherever they are posted to work. “You are not coming on board to represent a tribe or local government. You are coming to represent Adamawa State as one big family. Therefore, we enjoin you to join hands with Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and build Adamawa State,” Farauta said. The new Permanent Secretaries include Mundi Musa Ibrahim, Adama Maman, Dogara Musa, Fibian Wambai, Abubakar Umar Maiha, Oliver Gani, and Zira Bubanani. The rest are Kwaji Duguri, Ruth Hurum, Makalan Akila, Tanimu Buba, Heidi Edgar Amos and Mohammad Amin Suleiman Mahmud Saeed was inaugurated as sole administrator, Gere Bakari Development Area.
