NEMA Distributes Palliatives to 11 Wards in Mubi North Local Government Areas As Directed By the Executive Chairman, Mubi North Local Government Council, Honourable Suleiman Yahaya Sudi. The National Emergency Management Agency NEMA and Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency ADSEMA have distributed palliatives to the 11 wards in Mubi North Local Government as directed by the Fresh Air Governor, His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, under the good leadership of Executive Chairman Mubi North Local Government Council Honourable Suleiman Yahaya Sudi. In his address while flagging off the distribution at Government Lodge Mubi North Local Government, Honourable Suleiman Yahaya Sudi, who was ably represented by Vice Chairman Mubi North Local Government Council Honourable Dr. Hassan Betso, said the distribution has come at the right time when the citizens are experiencing hardship. He noted that the relief items would go a long way in augmenting the government’s efforts toward cushioning the effects the citizens were going through and assured that the materials will be judiciously distributed to the actual beneficiaries. The Vice Chairman of Mubi North Local Government Council, Honourable Dr. Hassan Betso, called on the beneficiaries to use the items donated judiciously and asked for more assistance to Adamawa State in terms of the provision of both humanitarian and developmental support for other people to benefit. Earlier in his welcome address, the Sirector of Planning and Statistics for NEMA Represented by Ismail Mahmud Kwacham, said the distribution was part of the assistance in the Mubi North Local Government Areas. The Program Was Attended by All Security agencies. Items distributed include cartons of one litre of vegetable oil, Sweeming Marchine, herbicide, maize, beans, generator, water pump, mattress, sorghum, salt, and rice, among others.
