In a significant step towards shaping the future of Adamawa State, the Executive Governor Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, through his Deputy Governor Professor Kelatapwa George Farauta, inaugurated the Adamawa State Development Plan Committee.

*The SDP provides an analysis of Adamawa State’s current development status, challenges, and opportunities.

*It is also aimed at achieving the policy theme of the State Government of ‘leaving no one behind and nothing untouched’.

*Has a strong focus on entrenching good governance which will in turn facilitate the full recovery and development of the State when implemented.

*The implementation of the Development plan by the State can create activities that are robust and can also create conducive environment necessary for sustained improvement on the governance, politics, security, and socio-economic conditions of the State.

The Committee will be chaired by Barrister Awwal D. Tukar, Secretary to Adamawa’ State Government
