On March 8, 2024, at the international women’s day dinner/award ceremony held at the Government House Banquet Hall in Yola, Dr. Mary B. Paninga was honored with an Award of Recognition for Exemplary Leadership and Advancement of Women’s Inclusion. This award was presented by German Corporation (GIZ) and NURU International, in collaboration with the Adamawa State Ministry of Women’s Affairs, as part of the celebration of International Women’s Day 2024. Dr. Paninga, the Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Planning Commission, was one of five recipients of this prestigious certificate of recognition. Her dedication to the ongoing commitment to advancing women’s inclusion was acknowledged and celebrated during the event.
