A three day training on data collection and quality for M and E officers in Gombi, Mubi North ,Numan local government areas and priority sector MDAs in Adamawa state ended with a call for gender sensitive language and specific data collection analysis and equal access to utilization of services. The event took place at Golden Alphine Hotel ,Yola Adamawa State was organized by USAID Nigeria State Accountability, Transparency,and Effectiveness (State 2 State) Activity. Explaining the importance of the technological monitoring dashboard the Executive chairman Adamawa state planning commission Dr Mary Paninga said it enables citizens feedback from all sectors including gender sensitivity and avoids doublication of projects hence the need for M and E officerd in each MDA. She added that the M and E policy will improve the performance of public sector and confidence of citizens on government policies.
Dr paninga called on everyone to embrace the digital change. On his part the permanent secretary of the commission Pharmacist Amos Enock Piribu gave the overview of M and E policy framework role and function of Adamawa state Eyes and Ears. He said so far eleven LGAs of Adamawa state have developed their community development plan. Adding that the aim of the M and E policy is to improve performance of public sectors. To clarify roles and responsibilities of Government to citizens among others. He also highlights

- Formation of state and twenty one (21) Local government monitoring and Evaluation .
