Adamawa State elder states man Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has eulogies the transformation of Adamawa under the leadership of Governor Fintiri, describing him as a lover of Nigeria and his people. Bamanga Tukur a one-time defunct Gongola State Governor and national chairman of the PDP heap praises on the Governor Fintiri for making remarkable changes that has positively impacted lives of the people and lifted status of the state. Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, made the declaration when he received the Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his entourage in his house on a courtesy visit. The elder states man who recalled his stint as governor of the state 40 years ago affirmed that coming back home to see a remarkable developmental strides under stewardship of Fintiri shows he is a nationalist and true son of the state. According to Tukur, what was more amazing about the Governor was his ability and courage in the face of economic crunch and lean resources to be able to put on ground such elephant projects that has put the State on the map. He prayed for the Governor to succeed and called on the people to rally round and give him all the support he needed to maintained such strides for the good of the state. Earlier in his remarks, the Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, identify the efforts of Alhaji Tukur, for setting the pace that has light up the path for the present generation in the state which brought about the ongoing transformative strides in the state. He prayed for the Governor to succeed and called on the people to rally round and give him all the support he needed to maintained such strides for the good of the state. Earlier in his remarks, the Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, identify the efforts of Alhaji Tukur, for setting the pace that has light up the path for the present generation in the state which brought about the ongoing transformative strides in the state. He described Tukur as one of the few elders in the state who assumed leadership position and left behind a legacy that endure the test of time. Fintiri reiterated that as a government, the state will continue to pray for him and seek his guidance and support to succeed in the collective efforts to bring about prosperity of the state and well-being of the people. Fintiri assured Tukur that even though one cannot satisfy everyone in leadership however, with the support of his cabinet and the masses he will continue to make the state proud and also live a legacy for the present and generations yet unborn. Bamanga Tukur offered special prayers for the Governor and the state to succeed.
