ADAMAWA STATE DELEGATION AT THE  TECHNICAL  REVIEW WORKSHOP  Of IMMAP Inc HELD ON THE 11th October 2024, @ ABUJA.

The iMMAP Inc has been committed to facilitating vital support to Adamawa, Yobe and Borno state (the BAY states) which have endured the complex humanitarian crisis in northeastern Nigeria.

The Technical Review workshop was an opportunity to provide an overview of iMMAP Inc’s vital support to humanitarian action in northeastern Nigeria.

The workshop was attended by a range of actors, including representatives from the Federal and State Governments, UN Agencies (including Sector Coordinators, Working Group/Area of Responsibility Leads), Donors, and INGOs responding to the northeast and northwest crises, Representatives from the Academia, as well as representatives from USAID/Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance implementing partners in the northeast and northwest.

The Office of the Executive Governor, Adamawa State remains a valued partner and one of the beneficiaries of the information management and capacity building support that iMMAP Inc provides in facilitating principled humanitarian action in Nigeria.

The Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Reconstruction, rehabilitation, re-integration and humanitarian service, Barr Bello Hamman Diram, Executive Chairman Adamawa State Planning Commission Dr Mary Paninga, Dr Robert Ahidjo , the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor on World Bank and Development Partner Projects and Ms. Asmau Durnin Special Adviser to the Governor CSO/NGO coordination with Mr Peter Egwudah The Chairman of the Network of Adamawa Non Governmental Organisations were in attendance.

Honorable Hammam Diram, Dr Paninga, Dr Ahidjo and Ms Durnin spoke on the current areas of collaborations between IMMAP and the Adamawa state Government and showed appreciation for the organisations key contributions towards evidence based data solutions and knowledge and information management sharing to deepen synergies between the state Governments development action plan and the activities of humanitarian and development actors in the state.

The officials detailed areas of continued collaborations for the next year to come in the ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination, enhance joint planning frameworks, and the mapping of evidence based strategic planning.
