The ceremony was organized by the Adamawa State Government to celebrate DIG Sahabo Abubakar Yahaya of the Department of Finance and Administration and DIG Bzigu Yakubu Dali of the Department of Operations, both based at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. Governor Fintiri, through his representative, commended the newly promoted officers for their dedication and service to the Nigeria Police, noting that their hard work has earned them this well-deserved recognition. He charged them to continue serving the nation diligently and assured them of the state’s continued support. Special gifts were also presented to the celebrants as a mark of honor. In his goodwill message, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun represented by AIG Zone Three, Yola, Adeniran Kunle Akinwale described the elevation of the two officers as a reward for outstanding commitment and discipline. He urged them to remain steadfast and praised Governor Fintiri for his developmental strides that are attracting investors to the state.
