The Government House Chapel women today celebrated the 2025 women’s day. The Church packed full with attendance including the Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa G. Farauta who attended with her entourage amongst who were the Hon. Commissioner of Transportation, the Executive Chairman Adamawa’ State Planning Commission, the deputy chief of staff to Her Excellency the Deputy governor, LGA vice chairpersons, female permanent secretaries amongst others. In her message as the main speaker, the Deputy Governor detailed the qualities of Dorcas signifying Carlos which is beauty inside. She emphasized that a beautiful and purposeful Christian woman should be generous, prayerful, meek and kind among other qualities. Some of the highlights were renditions of songs by different music groups including women fellowship choir from St. Monica Lutheran Church Yola. The wives of royal Majesties of Numan, Hong, GOMBI amongst others were also present at the program.
