Mr. Iliya James was born in Kwafara on 17th November, 1978 in Demsa IGA.
He attended Ngabekendewe Primary School for his first school leaving certificate from 1986 to 1991. He then proceeded to Government Day Secondary School Demsa where he completed his Secondary School Education. He also obtained National Diploma and Higher National Diploma from Federal Polytechnic Mubi. He went on to obtain a B.Sc. in Economics from Federal University Wukari.
He is a member of Nigeria Institute of Management. He is currently the commissioner of Entrepreneurship Development.
