Justina Obadiah Nkom was born in Lamurde on 17th July, 1965. She attended S.I.M. Primary School Kano between 1973 and 1979 then Government Teachers College Numan between 1981 and 1984. Thereafter, she proceeded to School of Midwifery of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital between 1987 and 1990 and later between 1992 and 1993.
Mrs. Justina Obadiah Nkom has worked in various places either as a Nurse, Midwifer or Examiner in Hospitals and external Examiner for Nursing and Midwives Council of Nigeria.
Hon. Justina Obadiah Nkom Ventured into politics and became a member in the Adamawa State House of Assembly representing Lamurde LGA. She held the positions of minority leader and minority whip. She was also a onetime Commissioner of Women Affairs and now the current Commissioner for Commerce and Industry.
