Mr Adamu Yakubu

Director Research Planning & Budgeting

Mr. Adamu Yakubu was born on the 14th December, 1961 at Pela in Hong LGA of Adamawa State. He attended Pela I Primary School from 1968 to 1974, GSS /GMMC Yola from 1974 to 1979, also under went remedials and IJMB from 1979 to 1982 at the college of preliminary studies Yola from where he proceeded to University of Maiduguri to study Economics from 1983 to 1986. He graduated with a BSc in Economics in 1986.

After graduation, he served under the national youth service corps program (NYSC) 1986/87 at St. Lawrence’s grammar school, Ilesha then part of Oyo state.

He was employed as a planning officer II (grade level 08/2) under former ministry of Finance and Economic Development which is now planning commission. Since then, He has served in various capacities from planning officer II to now substantive Director of Research Planning and Budget (GL.17/9).

Mrs. Gladys J. Dzarmah (JP)

Mrs Dzarmah Gladys James hails from Mijili, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State. She attended her Primary School at Mijili,1971-1976 and proceeded to Federal Government Girls’ College, Abuloma-Portharcourt, Rivers State 1977-1982. She later got admission into Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria where she obtained a B.SC Economics, 1984-1987. She did her NYSC in year 1987/88 and got employment as Master G11as aTeacher at the then Yelwa GSS Yola. After teaching for two years, she got transfer of service to the then Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Yola. In 2008, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Administration at former Federal University of Technology, Yola now Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola. Since then she has attended long-term and short-term courses, training workshops and the likes. In her working experience, she has rose from Planning Officer11(GL08) to Director (GL17) w.e.f 1/1/2014. She is married and blessed with five wonderful Children! Glory be to God!!

Mallam Dahiru Wakili

Director Admin & Human Resources

Dahiru Wakili, Director Administration and Human resources Department, was born on 5th January, 1965 at Wuro Mallum Sorau District, Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State. He attended Wuro Ladde Primary School from 1976 to 1982 for his First School Leaving certificate. Proceed to Teachers Collage Mubi from 1982 to 1986 for Grade II Certificate, gain admission to Federal Collage of Education Yola from 1988 to 1991, to obtain Nigeria Certificate in Education. Further gain admission in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU) from 1994 to 1996 for a Bachelor Degree in Education Social Studies. Appointed as Master Grade III GL.07 on 31 December. 1991 in Post Primary School Management Board. Reported for duty on 9th January, 1992 at GDSS Sorau as a Teacher. Held various positions in Teaching profession rose rank of a Principal. Later, applied for conversion from Education profession to Administration Cadre from 14th July, 2014 and was posted as Director Administration in the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology until November when he was then posted to Ministry of Environment from November 2018 to August, 2020. Presently posted to Adamawa State Planning commission from August, 2020 to date. Married and was blessed with six children’s.

Mr. Jesse Dogo Mshelia

Director Service Delivery & Improvement

Mr. Jesse Dogo Mshelia, born on 15th September 1963 and held from Garkida, Gombi LGA, Adamawa State, Nigeria. He Started his Primary School in South Garkida Primary School in 1971 to 1977, Government Secondary Maiha, 1977 to 1982 and University of Maiduguri in 1982 to 1987 and read Economics. He did his NYSC 1987 to 1988 in Ila-odo Community in former Oyo State and presently in Osun State.

He started his civil service carrier with the Post Primary Schools Management Board in 1989 where he taught in several Secondary Schools and rose to Senior Master (GL 10). He transferred his service to Adamawa State Planning Commission in 1997 as a Senior Planning Officer (GL 10) and rose through the ranks to a Director Planning in 1994.

He served on various important State Development Plans and other Committees one of which was the Secretary Institutional Reforms Committee that form part of the State Development Blue Print 2016 to 2030.

He attended several trainings and workshops on planning and development and emergencies issues/matters. He is a member of several organizations/associations. He is married and blessed with three children. He like reading and listening to music.

Mrs. Betty Wilfred Chanudu

Director Finance & Account

Betty Chanudu Wilfred was born in 1965 in small village called Banshika in Hong Local Government of Adamawa State.

Attended Banshika Primary School from 1974-1979 where she obtained FSLC. She obtained WAEC from 1979-1984. Further her education to federal polytechnic Mubi where she obtained National Diploma in accounting from 1988-1991. She obtained B.Sc. Accounting from Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola in the year 20.

She was married to Wilfred Jacob Bela of Wapunganda family.

She is blessed with three children.
