Pharm. Amos Enoch Piribu (MPSN)

Amos Enoch Piribu was born on August 25, 1969, in the village of Kwalgoro, located in the Kola district of Guyuk Local Government Area. He was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Piribu.

His educational journey began at Army Children’s School in Sokoto, where he attended from 1976 to 1982 for his primary education. He continued his secondary education at Army Command Secondary School, also in Sokoto, completing his Junior Secondary School from 1982 to 1985 and his Senior Secondary School from 1985 to 1988.

Amos Enoch Piribu pursued higher education at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, from 1988 to 1992, where he earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. pharm.) degree.

Following his university education, Amos Enoch Piribu undertook an internship training program at Specialist Hospital Yola from 1992 to 1993. He then completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kaduna from 1993 to 1994.

He joined the Adamawa State Civil Service and have worked as a pharmacist at the following health facilities:

  1. Cottage Hospital Song
  2. General Hospital Ganye
  3. General hospital Numan
  4. General hospital Michika
  5. General hospital Mubi
  6. Adamawa State Essential Drug Program as central store manager as well as procurement and logistic officer.

He was appointed permanent secretary in May 2023 and posted to the Ministry for Livestock and Aquaculture. He is presently at the Adamawa State Planning Commission.
