News:Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated ₦500 million and essential relief materials to support over 1,800 households devastated by recent floods in Adamawa State. The donation, which includes food and non-food items, aims to alleviate the suffering of thousands displaced by the disaster that claimed 29 lives and destroyed countless homes. The donation was received by Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta on behalf of the state during a condolence visit led by Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, representing Senator Tinubu. Farauta described the intervention as timely and assured that the donated items would be distributed transparently to ensure they reach those in need. The donation was made possible through the Renewed Hope Initiative, with contributions from donors, including the Abdulsamad Rabiu Africa Initiative.
