GOV FINTIRI ANNOUNCES 6 M ROADS, ELECTRICITY, OTHER PROJECTS FOR HONG

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. , has announced plans for the construction of six kilometres of road and the extension of electricity to communities in Hong Local Government Area.

The governor made the disclosure while addressing residents at Government Secondary School, Hong, during his ongoing statewide tour.

He assured the people that the road project, alongside the new Science and Technology Secondary School in the area, would be completed and commissioned before the end of 2026.

Governor Fintiri also revealed that his administration would revitalize the water supply system to ensure improved access to potable water for residents.

According to him, the tour is designed to assess the administration’s performance in project execution and identify other pressing needs of the people, with a view to deploying additional resources where necessary.

He appreciated the continued support of the people of Hong and reiterated his commitment to delivering people-oriented projects that directly impact their welfare.

The Senator representing Adamawa Central in the National Assembly, Aminu Iya Abbas, commended the governor’s developmental strides, noting that Hong has enjoyed increased government presence under the current administration.

Similarly, the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, and the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Umar Garba Pella, lauded Governor Fintiri for siting key development projects in the area and assured him of their continued support and loyalty.

Governor Umaru Fintiri later commissioned a newly constructed grain market in Hong, aimed at boosting commercial activities and enhancing economic growth in the area.
