The Adamawa State Planning Commission (ASPC) has called on all UNFPA Sub-Implementing Partners (Sub-IPs) and relevant officers to strictly adhere to approved procurement procedures, proper documentation and financial accountability in implementing UNFPA-supported projects across the state.
The Executive Chairman of the Commission, *Dr. Mary B. Paninga*, made the call during the coordination meeting of all UNFPA Sub-IPs held on Thursday, 22 October 2026, in Yola.
Dr. Paninga emphasized that effective programme implementation requires transparent resource management, proper documentation and strict compliance with established procurement and payment procedures. The Chairman urged all implementing partners and relevant officers to demonstrate professionalism, integrity and accountability, noting that every resource entrusted to them must deliver meaningful results for the people of Adamawa State.
The meeting also featured an overview of UNFPA-supported programmes and implementation priorities in the state, presentations on implementation progress by implementing partners, and discussions on recommendations for strengthening programme coordination and delivery.
