Adamawa State Government Launches Distribution of Relief Materials to 4,000 Households

News:The Adamawa State Government has launched a relief distribution exercise to support 4,000 households affected by the recent flood disaster. The relief materials, donated by the state government, Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, North East Development Commission (NEDC), and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), include: – Food Items: – Bags of rice – Bags of maize – Cartoons of spaghetti – Seasoning cubes – Tomato paste – Vegetable oil – Non-Food Items: – Plastic cups – Plastic spoons – Children’s wear – Nylon mats – Blankets – Mattresses The distribution was flagged off by the state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, who cautioned beneficiaries against selling the materials. She emphasized that the government would deploy monitoring teams to ensure the relief materials are used for their intended purpose
