The construction of the dual carriage 20.8km Adamawa Super Highway, stretching from the A.A. Lawan Flyover through Army Barracks and Rumde Kila to the Yola–Numan Federal Highway, is progressing impressively.
This project stands as one of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s landmark infrastructural initiatives, designed to open up the state capital for greater development, reduce travel time, ease traffic congestion, and minimize the risk of road accidents.
Currently, the laying of binder on Gibson Jalo Way—popularly known as Barracks Road—is ongoing to link with the previously completed binder section from the Half Cloverleaf Interchange down to the Rumde Kila axis.
