Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Tuesday assured the people of Ganye Local Government Area of the Adamawa State Government’s readiness to construct more roads and other critical infrastructure in the area.
Speaking at the Gangwari Square while addressing youths, women, and other stakeholders, during a one-day visit, the Governor said his administration has implemented policies on free and compulsory education, youth and women empowerment, and job creation through recruitment.
He disclosed that in the last six and a half years, his administration has invested heavily in infrastructure to attract investment, including the completion of the Ganye – Sanga Sumi road, among other projects, adding that the government will sustain the development drive.
Upon his arrival in the chiefdom, Governor Fintiri commissioned several projects executed by the local government council, including the “Welcome to Ganye” gate, Gurum District Palace, entrance gate of the local government secretariat, council chamber, and the Gangwari Palace gate.
