Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON has been recognized for the third time by the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service for his outstanding contributions to State and National Development.
The prestigious Presidential Award for excellence in governance was held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Sunday December 7th.
Presenting the Award to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri alongside other Governors and some notable Nigerians, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, commended the Award recipients for their contributions to the growth and development of the nation.
President Tinubu who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, praised the recipients for their tireless efforts in driving progress and prosperity in their respective domains.
The Award organizers, revealed that Governor Fintiri was chosen for this prestigious award due to his exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to public service.
His administration’s notable achievements in urban infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and economic growth were cited as key factors in the selection process. The organizers also commended Governor Fintiri’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and social cohesion in Adamawa State, making him a worthy recipient of this esteemed award.
