She furthered her education at the federal polytechnic in Mubi, where she obtained a national diploma in accounting from 2007–2010. She obtained a B.Sc. in Accounting from Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola in the years 2014–2018. She started working with the Adamawa State Government as a clerical assistant in 1993 and rose to the rank of director.
