Mrs. Farida Bukar Kiri hails from Lamurd, Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Between 2018 and 2019, she was promoted to the rank of Assistant Director in the Commission and posted to the Adamawa State Second Rural Access and Mobility Project (ADRAMP-2), where she served as an Assistant Monitoring and Evaluation Officer from 2015 to 2016, and then as a Social Safeguard Officer from 2017 to 2021. She also worked as a Technician Assistant on Social Safeguard in NG CARES from 2022 to 2023. Throughout her career, she has actively pursued professional development by attending long-term and short-term courses, training workshops, and other similar activities. Currently, she holds the position of Director Donor Support Coordination, a role she assumed in November 2023, and continues to excel in her career.
1979: She attended Waduku Primary School in Lamurde Local Government, Adamawa State.
1984: She pursued her secondary education at Government Girls Secondary School Gombi, Adamawa State.
1988: She subsequently gained admission to the Federal University of Technology Yola, Adamawa State, where she obtained a Diploma in Accountancy, and then pursued a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the same institution.
1991-2007: Her professional journey began as a planning officer with the Adamawa State Planning Commission, Yola, where she was posted to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
2019: She has pursued further education, earning an MSC in Environmental Resource Management.
