The approval was made during the council meeting presided over by deputy governor professor Kaletapwa Farauta, Wednesday.
Briefing newsmen shortly after the state Exco meeting, commissioner for information and strategy Barrister Leader Leneke revealed that Eight memos were considered and approved by the council.
The memos approved include; The State Steategic Development Plan 2026-2035, construction of high court complex in Numan, procurement of furniture for presidential lodge at the government house, Yola, Variation for additional work on the contract for the construction of perimeter fence at Fintiri one thousand housing units in Malkohi.
Others are; contract for the implementation of digitization and capacity building project for Adamawa state civil service, variation on the contract for the constructions at the Ultra modern Jimeta shopping mall lots one, two and three, and the construction of official residence for six of the newly created Chiefdoms and Emirates at 4.2 billion naira was approved.
State commissioner for justice and Attorney general Barrister Afraimu Jingi and that of housing and urban development Abdullahi Prambe explains more on the approvals that affects their ministries.
Also, the Executve chairman of the Adamawa State Planning Commission Dr. Mary Paninga and the Special Adviser to the Governor on ICT and E-Governance Adamu Hammanjam shed more light on the importance of the ten year state development plan approved by the council, and the digitization and capacity building project for Adamawa state civil service.
According to them, the strategic plan and its implementation would help sustain the legacies of government, while the digitization and capacity building for civil service will help digitize the records of civil servants ihn the state aimed at addressing the challenges regarding the authenticity of records.
