Adamawa Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has been conferred with a national award for excellence in healthcare service delivery by the Nigerian Medical Association at its 66th Annual General Meeting and Delegates Conference held in Kano.
The award recognises the Adamawa State Government’s strides in strengthening healthcare systems and improving human capital development across the state.
The Governor was ably represented at the ceremony by Dr. Suleiman Saidu Bashir, Executive Chairman of the Primary Health Care Agency, alongside Dr. Williams Teru, his personal physician, who received the honour on his behalf.
The award was presented by the Emir of Kano, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II, at an event that attracted top medical professionals and key stakeholders from across the country, highlighting notable achievements and innovations in Nigeria’s health sector.
