
The Adamawa State Executive Council, led by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved a ₦22.8 billion virement within the existing ₦486.2 billion 2025 budget to support strategic infrastructure, essential services, and operational efficiency.State Legislative Council
The virement does not increase the budget but reallocates funds for greater impact.
₦8 billion is for recurrent expenses due to rising overhead costs.
₦14.8 billion is for capital projects to drive development.
MAJOR ALLOCATIONS
1. ₦2.04bn: New NYSC Orientation Camp
2. ₦3.4bn: Modernization of State Amusement Park
3. ₦3bn: Maiha–Mubi Road Construction (24 km)
4. ₦1.2bn: Mubi Bypass (5 km)
5. ₦800m: Government House renovations
6. ₦500m: High Court consultancy
7. ₦650m: 1000 KVA Generator for Government House
8. ₦360m for Gulak Water Scheme (Madagali LGA), including 12.4km of pipeline.
The reallocation reflects the Fintiri administration’s push for efficiency, transparency, and high-impact governance without inflating the budget size.
