Fintiri presents N583bn 2026 budget proposal to Adamawa Assembly as he gifts Adamawa civil servants a free one-month salary as an end-of-the-year bonus

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has presented a budget proposal of N583.3 billion for the 2026 fiscal year to the state House of Assembly, with 64.07% allocated to capital expenditure. In a generous gesture, the governor announced a free one-month salary bonus for all Adamawa civil servants as an end-of-year gift. The budget prioritizes infrastructure development, with N120 billion allocated to the Ministry of Works and Energy Development, N40 billion for education, and N31.9 billion for health. Speaker Bathiya Wesley commended the executive’s budget implementation and promised speedy passage of the 2026 appropriation bill.
Five-Day Hands-On Training for Adamawa State Technological Monitoring and Evaluation Hub Administrators

The Adamawa State Technological Monitoring and Evaluation Hub, also known as the Citizen Eyes and Ears Hub, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has launched a comprehensive five-day hands-on training program for its administrative staff. Starting December 15, 2025, the intensive capacity-building initiative focuses on strengthening digital monitoring platform management skills and operational efficiency. The training aims to equip Hub administrators with essential technical competencies in site management, data handling, system administration, and timely reporting—reinforcing the state government’s commitment to evidence-based decision-making, transparency, and improved service delivery across Adamawa State.
